Many times we underestimate the power of prayer. Can you take a few minutes to pray for us? How you can pray: 1) This week, we are having our YWAM Virginia staff gathering. Pray that our staff would be refreshed and we would hear from God as we move forward. 2) We are starting a new school year! Our city is filling up with college kids. Pray that our relationships will be strengthened as we mentor and disciple them. 3) Big changes coming for the Campbells. Lemuel and Michaella are leaving next month for the Philippines! Lemuel will be doing his DTS, and Michaella will be studying online as she strengthens her Tagalog and spends time with family. At one point in October, our family will be on three continents. Please pray for our family as we adjust to all the changes. Thank you for taking the time to pray. We are so grateful for you! Serving the King, Dustin and Haydee Campbell YWAM Lynchburg

We are on our way to Texas! Haydee is attending a Hospitality Seminar at YWAM Wylie from July 17th to 22nd. God has clearly spoken to us, calling us to embrace hospitality. This involves creating a welcoming environment for college students, ministers (pastors and missionaries), and anyone in need of a space for refreshment and healing. We have already begun this journey. Over the past few months, we have hosted missionaries and ministers who needed some time to rest. This seminar will further equip us to be more effective in fulfilling this important aspect of YWAM Lynchburg's calling. Upon our return, we have our YWAM Virginia staff conference in August. Following that, Michaella and Lemuel will be flying to the Philippines! Michaella will be taking a semester abroad. Through Liberty online, she will continue her studies while strengthening her language skills in the Philippines. She will be staying with family, while Lemuel plans to undertake his Discipleship Training School in Davao, the city of his birth! Furthermore, this school year, we are opening up YWAM Lynchburg to college students who desire to live in a discipleship community. It will be a place where we can instill a Kingdom mindset in this generation. We firmly believe that we will witness a wave of world changers emerging from this group! We want to express our sincere gratitude for your prayers and support. It is a blessing to have you all journeying with us. Video Update belowGreetings from YWAM Lynchburg! We hope this newsletter finds you well. Your continued support and partnership have been instrumental in the impact we are making in Lynchburg and around the world. God has been faithful. When we moved to Lynchburg, we anticipated increased needs and a decrease in income. Due to inflation, our rent and expenses rose. We willingly relinquished my part-time salary as a pastor and embraced the financial demands of pioneering a new YWAM location. With crazy steps of faith and unwavering trust in God's guidance, we have witnessed some financial breakthroughs. Through one-time gifts and savings, our family was able to stay afloat until January. In February, YWAM Lynchburg settled into our new space downtown. And just last month, we received generous gifts to propel our ministry forward and prepare for college students joining us in the fall. We have also been blessed with much-needed furniture, paint, and other resources. What we need now is an increase in our personal support. Since January, I (Dustin) have been working with DoorDash and GrubHub to bridge the financial gap. While this is a temporary solution, it is not sustainable in the long run. Currently, it takes away precious time I need to focus on YWAM and places a strain on me and our vehicles, both mentally and physically. God called us here not to deliver food but to expand His Kingdom in the lives of college students, helping them see the world of missions as they move forward. Our calling is to disciple young people and cultivate missional leaders. I need your assistance to get back on track. How you can help: 1) Pray. We often underestimate the power of prayer. Prayer opens doors beyond our imagination. If you can commit to praying for us daily, it would make a significant impact. 2) Give monthly. If you have been considering monthly support but haven't made the commitment, now is the time. A contribution of $100 per month can go a long way. While we are grateful for one-time gifts, long-term sustainability requires more monthly support. 3) Increase your monthly giving. We are deeply grateful to those who have already taken this step. If others among you would consider increasing your monthly contribution, we would be immensely thankful. Will you partner with us and join us in our story? We are in need of a breakthrough. We cannot continue as we are currently. Can you help us turn the corner? You can support us by CLICKING HERE. In conclusion, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, financial support, and belief in our mission. Dustin and Michaella sharing in our last PodcastYWAM Lynchburg's first Short-term Missions Outreach! We have eight college students (including Michaella) who left for South Africa on May 15 for a two-week mission trip. They have been sharing in schools and squatter communities. We have been getting reports on how God has moved among the people they communicate with. I know that God is also bringing change to the team that will affect them for the rest of their lives! I am looking forward to hearing more stories when they return! If you want to learn more about how this team came together, you can watch my last Podcast by clicking here. Heading to Texas This July, Haydee will be joining a week-long seminar on hospitality. We know we are called to host missionaries and other ministers in the future, which will equip us to do a better job. Thank You Gratitude fills our hearts-whenever we think about those who partner with us in prayers and finances. We pray for you often. We also need more monthly supporters. Watch my last Podcast on the impact of short-term mission TripsYWAM Lynchburg's Building Dedication We just had our building dedication for YWAM Lynchburg! We had over 100 people come out. God moved in worship, and it was so good to see all of YWAM VA and many friends come to celebrate with us. We are excited about what God has planned for YWAM Lynchburg in the coming months. To watch the highlights of the building dedication, CLICK HERE. South Africa Outreach Team In our building dedication, we commissioned our first outreach team heading to South Africa this May! We have ten college students, and Michaella is one of them! If you want to know more about what they will do and/or give to Michaella for the trip, CLICK HERE. Brazil for the Master's Intensive I just arrived in Brazil for the Team-Based Communications Master's intensive. We have 18 participants from 6 different continents! They are made up of leaders in Youth With A Mission from around the world. It is a privilege to serve them this coming week. Thank You I am so grateful for those who are praying and supporting us. "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all, making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now." Phil 1:3-5 We are facing a lot of extra expenditures. Will you pray about giving by clicking here? "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19" In His service, Campbell Family Prayer Points:
Have you heard about what is happening in Universities around the States? Young people are repenting and committing their lives to Jesus Christ. God is moving. We have seen things like this before. If you have watched the movie Jesus Revolution, a generation that seemed lost turned to Christ, which started a worldwide movement. What needs to be shared is that it also fueled a missions movement. In the 1970s Youth with A Mission (YWAM) was 10 years old. YWAM was positioned to receive these youth and mobilize them for missions when the revival broke out. You can read some of that story in Floyd McClung’s book “Living on the Devil’s Doorstep” when he led these youth to Kabul, Afghanistan. I believe we are seeing the same thing now. God spoke clearly about our calling to move to Lynchburg to pioneer a new YWAM location. In the process, he has led us in relationships with college students, and we believe God has called us to disciple them and mobilize them for missions. We are facilitating a short-term missions trip for students leaving for South Africa in May. Also, we are opening a student dorm that will be a discipling community that will host students from the nations and going into the nations. Will you join this story? Right now, we are seeing God open doors in Lynchburg and provide a place and a lot of the needed furniture to start. But what we need is monthly support for YWAM Lynchburg. As a YWAM location, we do not have any monthly support. Your monthly gift could fuel the move of God that is happening among Gen Z. Will you join us by giving? You can do this online by CLICKING HERE . We are in the midst of a God-inspired story. We are looking forward to the next chapter we are going to experience! Thank you to everyone who has partnered with us through your prayers and financial support. We are so grateful to you. In His service, Campbell Family Prayer Points:
Will you take about three or more minutes and partner with us in prayer as we pioneer YWAM Lynchburg? Here are some things you can be praying for as we enter into the New Year.
Blessings to you in 2023. With grateful hearts, Dustin & Haydee We hope you had a Merry Christmas and that you have a happy New Year! Thank you for partnering with us towards our support for another fantastic year of ministry! We appreciate your prayers and generous donations over the past twelve months. We are most thankful for the following things that God did this past year, which were all possible because of you:
It is with deep gratitude and appreciation that I thank you for your partnership. Blessings to you in 2023. Sincerely yours, Dustin & Haydee Campbell Haydee and I are back from Cartagena, Colombia. So what was that all about? Staffing the Master in Team-based Communications We had our first intensive in person with 18 participants of 14 different nationalities in three languages in Cartagena. Haydee came and helped with logistics and hospitality. Some may ask why I am staffing a University of the Nations Master’s degree program? Most of the participants are leaders in Youth With A Mission. Most of them have been in the mission for more than 20 years. In this program, we tackle the Theology of Communication and community, and the effects technology has on our communication and culture. We also look at how different cultures communicate and the leadership it takes to navigate all of the above. I am privileged to be a part of equipping the leaders who are taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Nations! The research and projects of these leaders will significantly impact how we move forward as a mission. This is the first trip of four to South America we will be taking for the next two years. What is Going on and Coming Up! Haydee and I will attend the YWAM’s Eastern North American Gathering in Alabama this weekend. This will be the first time YWAM Lynchburg will be represented! Also, in Lynchburg, we have two more staff join us! We also learned about a group of YWAMers now attending Liberty University who started a prayer movement. We are discussing how to best support them on what God has begun there. Thank you! Through your prayers and support, you are impacting leaders in YWAM in the nations, establishing YWAM Lynchburg, and helping equip young leaders to lead a prayer movement. Thank you so much. In His service, Campbell Family Prayer Points:
A lot is happening, and we could use your prayers. Please take a few minutes to pray for us for the following: 1- Liberty Student Prayer movement. God is moving among the students in Liberty University, which is being spearheaded by students who came from YWAM! (see some of them in the attached picture) Individually they felt a call to go to Liberty University, came together, and gathered other students to pray for revival. Please pray for wisdom. 2- Trip to Colorado (Oct 11-16). My cousin Tim passed. I will be facilitating the memorial service. Please pray for my trip and our family. 3- Pray for our trip to Colombia (Oct 18-29). Haydee and I will fly to Cartagena, Colombia, where I will be staffing the Team-Based Communication Master's program, and this will be our first intensive with this cohort. We have 19 students from 14 different countries. Pray for good health and staff travel. Pray for negative COVID tests. Also, pray for our time together. Thank you for taking the time to pray for us!
