What do we intend to accomplish in developing communities within Youth With A Mission (YWAM)? We are looking for Christ-filled communities that bring change organically, internally, and externally. In this paper, we will look at the communities of YWAM in our different locations in four different areas. First, we must define what community means in our context. Second, we will look at how others could view the relevance of our internal community to the world at large. Third, we will tackle what obstacles in our community may hinder us from effectively reaching out to those outside our community. Finally, we will look at parallels we see in Scripture of how the collective community of God’s people witnessed those in the world.
