Join me on this Journey of Faith and Mission
I have exciting news to share! I have been accepted to the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Davao, Philippines, this October!
This opportunity arose when my brother, Lemuel, suggested that I take a DTS, since I was already considering a gap year. I just graduated from high school in June of this year, and after much prayer and processing with my parents, I’ve felt a calling to go!
My decision to attend Davao’s BURN DTS stemmed from my desire to know God more, understand the path He has paved for me, engage in mission work, and grow as a disciple of God.
I have been volunteering at the Salvation Army 3X a week with my Dad, helping out my parents in YWAM River City - Lynchburg, volunteering at my local church, and studying for the SAT, which I will take on August 22nd.
Right now, I am aiming to raise approximately $4500 dollars to cover my overall costs. I have been preparing and saving funds for this since last semester by taking small jobs such as grass mowing and janitorial work.
