A Year of Changes

At the beginning of the year, we were in the Philippines. We knew that there would be changes for us, but we had no idea of what would happen. We came back to North Carolina in January and hit the ground running.

In February we visited YWAM Richmond, VA and talked and prayed about moving here. March I spoke in an Asian youth conference in Maryland, Haydee had surgery, and we moved to Richmond. April we settled into Richmond. May and June we started to host Summer Teams and I took leadership over volunteers. July we went to Canada where I spoke in a youth camp, Michaella was a camp counselor. Once we got back, I joined the leadership team in YWAM Richmond and became the training director and Haydee took over Hospitality at the base and became part of the Member Care Team. September we started the Discipleship Training School (DTS) and the English Language and Culture school in Richmond. Late September going into October I went to Canada for my first module for my Master’s degree. When I got back 3 days later Haydee flew to the Philippines to teach in the DTS in YWAM Butuan on Godly Relationships along with meeting and debriefing. While she was gone I spoke in the DTS in Richmond on Identity. And the year is not over!

We are planning to visit Colorado and Texas in the next couple of months. We are wanting to meet up with our family and friends and catch up with everyone.
