Justin, Haydee, and I shortly after Thanksgiving flew to the Philippines and met up with Michaella, who had been there since September. A few days later, I flew to Thailand with Michaella to teach Godly Relationships in Chiang Rai, Thailand, at the YWAM base where we used to live. I even had Michaella teach some of the time (she did great).  It was so good to see old friends and meet new ones.

After a week in Thailand, we met up with Haydee and Justin in Manila and flew to Davao, the city where we used to live and where Lemuel was doing his Discipleship Training School (DTS)! I taught about Identity, and we spent time with Lemuel. We did a lot of one-on-ones with the staff and met up with old friends. We also had the chance to spend Christmas with Lemuel! Lemuel has graduated from his DTS and will be back on March 28. More about his future later!

You heard it right. We are buying a house!
About a month ago, in prayer, Haydee felt God telling her it was time to buy a house. She asked if it was really from God that two different people would confirm it. Within a week, two people in two different conversations, while discussing something unrelated, stopped what they said and told us that they felt we were to buy a house! That is some confirmation, which God provided in short order.

​Financially, it didn’t make sense to us. We talked to a friend who was a relator about what God was saying. It looked impossible. But as we were looking for different ways, at one point, he said that this was from God, and He would make a way.
I learned later that I could use some of our Roth IRA for the down payment. Also, while I was sharing this as a testimony to a friend, he and his wife prayed and felt they would give us a $22,000 gift, which helped us sign on to the house!

As of now, we close on the house on April 18 if all goes well!
