For those who have been keeping track you know that we have been through a lot to get our kids' Recognition of Philippine citizenship, Philippine passports, and we are currently waiting for the US passports to be delivered end of this month. We also just scheduled Haydee's interview with the US Embassy for her US visa. If you know the cost of all of these things so far we have spent a total of $1350. There has been some people who have been giving extra and because of this we have been able to get this far and we are very grateful. We are targeting late October to fly out and fly back to the Philippines in March. We are planning to visit many States after spending the Holidays in Colorado. But the truth is we are very far off our need for the plane tickets. We are looking at different options like flying first to the west coast and then find a way to get to Colorado. But honestly we are nowhere near where we need to be. To fly all the way to Colorado we are looking at $7000 (prices keep on changing). But if we can get a little over $5000 we can buy tickets to California right away. Can you please pray and ask God if you can give extra for this trip? Even a small gift can be a big help. But if God ask you to give a bigger gift it will go a long way. To give please CLICK HERE for ways to give. Even if you are not able to give please keep this trip in your prayers. We are way overdue for a furlough (it has been 5 years) and we know this is the right time. Pray that unseen doors will open to make this trip happen.

On Tuesday night around 1 am a category 3 typhoon hit our area and lasted until 11 am the following day. There was lots of destruction with down trees and power outages. As you can see in the picture the community where YWAM Laguna ministers in was hit badly and had a lot of flooding. Haydee, was able to join the YWAM staff for the house to house visitation where they were able to give some practical help, encouragement, prayers, and help debrief the mothers as they told their stories on how they survived. Overall, we made it through safe and sound. Third week of June I had the privilege to teach in the Laos Focused DTS in Eastern Thailand on hearing God's voice. What a great batch of students and staff! They were so open that it was a pure joy to see them learn. I look forward for their updates as their school continues. In the next couple of months we will be very busy and doing a lot of traveling. As a family we will be traveling to Baguio, Antipolo, and Battambang, Cambodia. Next month, I (Dustin) will be teaching in Thailand for two weeks. If you like to read more on those trips please CLICK HERE to find out more. We have a lot of travel in the next few months and your prayers are appreciated. On July 27 as a family we will drive up to Baguio and I (Dustin) will teach in the Making Disciple Makers (MDM) staff development program. This is a coarse to train our DTS staff and leaders to run better schools. I will be sharing on Identity in Leadership and Crises Management. August 1 is our Lemuel's Birthday! Turning 8! Then August 4 to 8 we as a family will be in YWAM Antipolo and I (Dustin) will be teaching on Father Heart of God in their DTS. On August 9 I will fly to Thailand and teach in the DTS in Chiang Rai on Godly Relationships. The following week I will be teaching in a different DTS on Re-entry. When I get back a few days latter on August 26 we will fly to Cambodia for the DTS Equip (leaders and staff development for DTS). I will be co-leading the DTS Equip. Haydee and the kids will fly back to the Philippines September 26 but I will stay on until October 18. Then we are targeting around October 22 to fly to the States! If you would like to give to our travel we would be very grateful. To give CLICK HERE. |
