 I (Dustin) had a great time in General Santos. There was good feedback from my teaching on Godly Relationships in the Church Planting Institute (CPI) and also from my teaching on Identity on the Radio. But more than that I enjoyed my time catching up with our friends Spencer and Sally Tolson.
After I came home from General Santos a few days later we flew of to Hong Kong! We went with some of our Filipino family. Considering the weather in Hong Kong this time of year is usally not good, but we had some great weather. And we got to go to Disneyland Hong Kong!

 I (Dustin) came to the Philippines almost 20 years ago. In those 20 years most of the Holiday season has been spent in the Philippines. So the idea that this is the last one for a while brings mixed feelings.
This year we are doing a lot more giving. On Friday Haydee and Michaella are going to "The House of Care" to give gifts to children cancer patients who are in treatment. We also have been going through our things and starting to plan out who will get what when we move. It is also the third time within five years where we will give away most of what we own and move to a different country. In our family devotions we have been talking about the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus, God's gift to us. Here are some high lights from the past year; -Visiting family, friends, and speaking in different churches while driving through 24 States - Dustin teaching in Thailand twice, the Philippines, and one other undisclosed country. - Attending our last YWAM Philippines Staff Conference - Taking care of Haydee's father Felix for 4 months - Visiting Hong Kong as a family! God has been faithful. |
