I am currently in South America, while Haydee and Justin are situated in North America. On the other side of the globe, Michaella and Lemuel are in the Philippines. Here's an update on our activities: Over the past week, I have been in Cartagena, Colombia, where I've had the privilege of teaching in the University of the Nations' Master's in Team-Based Communication degree program. I've also had the opportunity to engage with the cohort to assist them with their theses. It has been an honor to collaborate with so many remarkable leaders from around the world. My return to Virginia is scheduled for November 4th. Following this, on November 19th, Haydee, Justin, and I will be heading to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to contribute to their Discipleship Training School (DTS). The subsequent week, we will journey to Manila to meet up with Michaella. On December 3rd, Michaella and I will be flying to Thailand, where I will be teaching in Chiang Rai's DTS. Then, on December 10th, Haydee, Justin, Michaella, and I will fly to Davao, Philippines, to reunite with Lemuel, who is actively involved in his own DTS. I'll also be teaching in Davao's DTS, and we are excited to celebrate Christmas together as a family in Davao. It's quite an eventful itinerary, to say the least. In the midst of all this traveling, our ministry at YWAM Lynchburg has continued to thrive and flourish. We've witnessed significant growth among the college students we've been working with, and we feel incredibly blessed to be part of what God is accomplishing through them. As you can see, we are concluding this year with a whirlwind of activities. None of this would be possible without your unwavering support, both through your prayers and your generous gifts. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your partnership. Serving the King, Dustin and Haydee Campbell YWAM Lynchburg Please do keep us in your prayers! Prayer Points:
Watch our Podcast about PioneeringDuring this past summer, our schedule remained quite active. In June, we had the privilege of hosting the Every Heart movement in Lynchburg, and concurrently, YWAM Lynchburg set out our first outreach team comprised of college students to South Africa. Moving into July, we traveled to Texas, where Haydee participated in YWAM's Hospitality Seminar. In August, our YWAM Virginia staff conference kept us busy. Throughout the summer, we also provided a place for pastors and missionaries seeking rest, debriefing, and accommodation. As we transitioned into the fall season, college classes resumed, and our ministry activities intensified. We're engaged in mentoring college students, as well as supporting missionaries abroad and others. Our weekly Bible study and community worship events have attracted college students and various participants, fostering one-on-one conversations that strengthen relationships. Exciting news includes Michaella and Lemuel's journey to the Philippines. Lemuel is embarking on his Discipleship Training School in Davao. If you'd like to stay updated on his experiences, please visit dhcampbell.org/lemuel to read or sign up for his newsletters. Looking ahead, I (Dustin) am gearing up for a trip to Cartagena, Colombia, on October 24. I'll be teaching in the Team-based Communication Master's program, which consists of leaders from diverse backgrounds working towards their Master's degrees. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering prayers and support. Your presence on this journey means the world to us. We will be gathering students for a Bible study series on Godly Relationships. We have had many interested. Pray that this will make a big impact on them. 2) Liberty University Student Prayer group! The prayer group student leadership (see picture) has been talking to the administration about finding a place on campus to have their prayer sets. The administration said they will be getting a space for them soon. As of now, they are praying in the prayer garden on campus, but when the weather gets bad, they will need a place inside. Pray they will have a place soon. 3) Lemuel and Michaella are leaving on September 18 for the Philippines! Pray for safe travel for both of them. Lemuel will be doing his DTS (Click to sign up for His newsletter), and Michaella will be studying online as she strengthens her Tagalog and spends time with family. Serving the King, Dustin and Haydee Campbell YWAM Lynchburg We are on our way to Texas! Haydee is attending a Hospitality Seminar at YWAM Wylie from July 17th to 22nd. God has clearly spoken to us, calling us to embrace hospitality. This involves creating a welcoming environment for college students, ministers (pastors and missionaries), and anyone in need of a space for refreshment and healing. We have already begun this journey. Over the past few months, we have hosted missionaries and ministers who needed some time to rest. This seminar will further equip us to be more effective in fulfilling this important aspect of YWAM Lynchburg's calling. Upon our return, we have our YWAM Virginia staff conference in August. Following that, Michaella and Lemuel will be flying to the Philippines! Michaella will be taking a semester abroad. Through Liberty online, she will continue her studies while strengthening her language skills in the Philippines. She will be staying with family, while Lemuel plans to undertake his Discipleship Training School in Davao, the city of his birth! Furthermore, this school year, we are opening up YWAM Lynchburg to college students who desire to live in a discipleship community. It will be a place where we can instill a Kingdom mindset in this generation. We firmly believe that we will witness a wave of world changers emerging from this group! We want to express our sincere gratitude for your prayers and support. It is a blessing to have you all journeying with us. Video Update belowGreetings from YWAM Lynchburg! We hope this newsletter finds you well. Your continued support and partnership have been instrumental in the impact we are making in Lynchburg and around the world. God has been faithful. When we moved to Lynchburg, we anticipated increased needs and a decrease in income. Due to inflation, our rent and expenses rose. We willingly relinquished my part-time salary as a pastor and embraced the financial demands of pioneering a new YWAM location. With crazy steps of faith and unwavering trust in God's guidance, we have witnessed some financial breakthroughs. Through one-time gifts and savings, our family was able to stay afloat until January. In February, YWAM Lynchburg settled into our new space downtown. And just last month, we received generous gifts to propel our ministry forward and prepare for college students joining us in the fall. We have also been blessed with much-needed furniture, paint, and other resources. What we need now is an increase in our personal support. Since January, I (Dustin) have been working with DoorDash and GrubHub to bridge the financial gap. While this is a temporary solution, it is not sustainable in the long run. Currently, it takes away precious time I need to focus on YWAM and places a strain on me and our vehicles, both mentally and physically. God called us here not to deliver food but to expand His Kingdom in the lives of college students, helping them see the world of missions as they move forward. Our calling is to disciple young people and cultivate missional leaders. I need your assistance to get back on track. How you can help: 1) Pray. We often underestimate the power of prayer. Prayer opens doors beyond our imagination. If you can commit to praying for us daily, it would make a significant impact. 2) Give monthly. If you have been considering monthly support but haven't made the commitment, now is the time. A contribution of $100 per month can go a long way. While we are grateful for one-time gifts, long-term sustainability requires more monthly support. 3) Increase your monthly giving. We are deeply grateful to those who have already taken this step. If others among you would consider increasing your monthly contribution, we would be immensely thankful. Will you partner with us and join us in our story? We are in need of a breakthrough. We cannot continue as we are currently. Can you help us turn the corner? You can support us by CLICKING HERE. In conclusion, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, financial support, and belief in our mission. Dustin and Michaella sharing in our last PodcastYWAM Lynchburg's first Short-term Missions Outreach! We have eight college students (including Michaella) who left for South Africa on May 15 for a two-week mission trip. They have been sharing in schools and squatter communities. We have been getting reports on how God has moved among the people they communicate with. I know that God is also bringing change to the team that will affect them for the rest of their lives! I am looking forward to hearing more stories when they return! If you want to learn more about how this team came together, you can watch my last Podcast by clicking here. Heading to Texas This July, Haydee will be joining a week-long seminar on hospitality. We know we are called to host missionaries and other ministers in the future, which will equip us to do a better job.
