Michaella graduated summa cum laude with a degree in International Relations in Foreign Affairs, along with minors in Politics and Policy and Global Studies. God has also opened a door for her to attend Johns Hopkins University for her master's degree! If you'd like to learn more about what God is doing in her life, please feel free to contact us. Deer Damage After our Good Friday service, I was driving home with Justin when I hit a deer on the highway. No one was hurt, and the damage could have been much worse. Inserence covered most of the repairs, but we did have to pay a $750 deductible. Outreach to the Middle East! Last week, YWAM Lynchburg sent a team of six for three weeks! They will be working with refugees. Please keep them in your prayers! They will be back in the States the first week of June.  You might not know this, but for the past couple of years, YWAM Lynchburg has been helping out at the Salvation Army here in town. We’ve been helping out in their kitchen a few nights a week, cooking and serving meals, and picking up food donations twice a week to keep things running smoothly.
It’s a simple way for us to support another ministry and make a difference for people who need it most. We’re grateful for the chance to serve alongside them and help out in our community.  Haydee's Brother was able to come visit us from the Philippines! Can you believe it? We've waved goodbye to Spring Break and are now charging full speed ahead into the last leg of the school year! Our Bible study is in full swing, and we are currently focused on the Holy Spirit. We have a couple of more Community Worship nights, and then we will finish up the school year!
In late April, we’ll hold our Love Feast to reflect on all God has done this year, followed by a special dinner in May for our graduates. After graduation, a team of six will head to Turkey for a 3-week outreach! We’ve also got a trip coming up! The second week of April is YWAM’s Eastern North American Leaders Gathering in Dunham, Quebec, Canada. Haydee and I will be driving up for it, and we’re looking forward to the time there. Michaella recently completed her internship in Washington, and we've been exploring the Father's Heart of God in our College Bible Study in Lynchburg. Haydee and I also had the opportunity to attend the Beach DTS on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where we were refreshed and rejuvenated. However, before the Beach DTS, I did have to get a root canal - ouch!
Looking ahead, we have some exciting developments to share. Michaella has applied for a Fellowship that would cover the cost of her Master's degree, and we're eagerly awaiting the outcome. Lemuel has also booked his ticket to the Philippines, where he'll be starting a Biblical Core Course in Davao in February. After completing the course, he'll be staffing with YWAM Davao for the next three years. This means that this will likely be our last Christmas with all our kids under one roof, so please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for this transition. As we approach the end of the year, we're grateful for your support and would like to ask you to remember us in your year-end giving. For many of us, the fall is a new beginning. With that understanding, here are some prayer points.
1—Michaella is doing an internship in Washington, DC, until November 2. It is a growing experience that is helping her gain a deeper understanding of what God is calling her to do. Pray she will clarify her next steps after graduation and be a light where she is. 2—Pray for YWAM Lynchburg. We have been seeing God move among the students. Last year, we saw students step into overseas mission fields (Indonesia, Nepal, France, etc.) and graduates enter into ministry in the States. Currently, we are mentoring others with a mission mindset as they move into their careers. Pray that God would connect us with students this year so we can continue to impact the Kingdom of God. 3- Pray for YWAM Virginia as we seek God to make changes so we can have a greater impact on this generation. 4- Pray for Lemuel as he prepares to leave for the Philippines next year to join staff with YWAM Davao. Thank you for standing with us in your prayers! Campbell Family  Our College Town is Buzzing Again! The students are back, and it’s obvious from the out-of-state plates lining the streets. We’re thrilled to reconnect with the students we’ve built relationships with and can’t wait to see how God moves in the coming school year. But as things ramp up on campus, we’ve also got a few other things on our plates. We also hosted our YWAM Virginia staff gathering in Lynchburg and had the opportunity to pray for some of the college students! (See picture) Exciting News: Haydee Heads to Manila! Next Monday, Haydee will be flying to Manila, Philippines, for the YWAM Together International Conference. This is a significant event as it’s the first international gathering since the passing of YWAM’s founder, Loren Cunningham. Haydee will represent YWAM Virginia, but it’s also a special time to reconnect with dear friends from around the world. Many have asked why we both aren’t going—well, with the school year just kicking off, we feel it’s crucial that I stay back and help set the pace for the season ahead. This weekend, Michaella is off to Washington, DC, for an 11-week internship. We’re so proud of her and excited to see what God has in store during this time. Please do pray for her. Now that he’s back, he’s on the lookout for a job and helping us with YWAM Lynchburg while continuing to raise support for his next mission trip to the Philippines. After a few unexpected delays, we're thrilled to announce that we've finally closed on our new home! The process wasn't without its challenges, but we're now settled in and grateful for God's provision every step of the way. We closed on our new house on May 2nd, which just so happened to be the National Day of Prayer! How fitting! A warm and heartfelt thank you goes out to each and every one of you who graciously gave and kept us in your prayers. We couldn't have done it without you!
In other news, Lemuel has returned from his DTS in the Philippines and has been a tremendous help as we've transitioned into our new space. He's gearing up to assist YWAM Richmond with their summer teams in July and is excited about joining the staff at YWAM Davao next year. I've had the privilege of staffing the University of the Nations Masters in Team-Based Communications for the past two years, and we're excited to celebrate the graduation of the current cohort, which is made up of YWAM leaders around the world! This is a short podcast with Micki, one of the college grads we have been walking with!
 In Maine on our way to Canada! We have been doing some traveling. We were in Canada for a board meeting with a new YWAM location, Gather to Go, and Lemuel and I (Dustin) went to Florida for the Eastern North American Leaders Gathering. This week, I will be teaching in the DTS in Richmond.
We started this journey of buying a house last March. God has made a way through our Roth IRA, along with some generous donors, to have a down payment. We have moved the closing date twice. Our second closing date was last Friday (April 26). We have not heard anything back from the underwriter. Many times, we underestimate the power of prayer. Can you take a few minutes to pray for us? How you can pray: 1) Pray the Bank will approve our mortgage. We have been waiting to hear from them since last Wednesday. 2) Pray for the DTS in Richmond: I will teach Intercession and Spiritual Warfare. Pray that God will move in power. 3) For Lemuel. Our son Lemuel is back from his DTS in the Philippines. God changed his life. He wants to return and join the YWAM Davao, Philippines staff. Pray for his monthly support.
